HOLY MOLY!

so its been about 5 years since my last journal entry. I woke up today and saw that i had 750 messages!!!! At first I thought it was a glitch or something... it couldnt be.... 750??? holy crap!!!!!! I finally found out that I got a Daily Deviation for one of my colabs i did with my wife (the mother with skullhead... which is now called "Selfless Mother") I freaked out! it was badass!! I didnt even know what a DD was....had to look it up ;) but it was good. Took me FOREVER to get through all the awesome comments people posted about it and others in my gallery.

This has sparked a new life in my Deviant life.... I will always post new stuff right away on here and even share more about myself and what im doing. I am trying to spend more time on personal promotion and get my art out there. Ide like to thank all those who added me on their watch list and everyone who commented. THANKS!!! hey still diggin the work!
just checked out your blog i was really suprised at some the tattoo choices by people. how many mom requests do you get? :)

loved the new piece 'smoking head boy' top class. Also you rocked it out with the 'dali elephant' tat :clap:

thanks man... yeah its easier for me to update my blog most of the times so go there to check out all my new stuff plus works in progress.

Ah yes... the tattoo business can be pretty silly at times. I do it to make money but usually try to sway people in the direction i want.... some bite and some dont. Its good work for now... in the meantime i will work on my secret career as an illustrator. Every once in a while i make extra money on it...gotta do something while im sitting there waiting to do a tattoo on someone. :)

I really enjoy your photography. Sometimes I wish i knew more about it... I want to learn how to light things and get the scene to look like what i have in my head. I imagine its pretty tough and expensive at first... I have a Nikon D80 and some regular soft box lights... maybe i should pick it up and use it!

In regards to the lighting its just practice. Your already ahead of me in gear it seems, I don't own a camera or lights. I just get a lend of equipment off people and practice. THe good thing about not being able to get things to come out exactly like in your head is most the time it comes out better ;) .
